What sculptra actually does

Sculptra is a collagen stimulator, not a volumizer. It does not fill a space — it puts a material under your skin that your body responds to by producing new collagen over the following months. The result arrives so gradually that people notice you look well, not that you look treated.

What happens at your appointment

Plan

We map the areas of overall deflation — temples, cheeks, jawline. Sculptra is for global loss, not one line.

Inject

Reconstituted product placed in a fanning pattern across the treatment area.

Massage

You massage the area 5 minutes, 5 times a day, for 5 days. This is non-negotiable and it prevents nodules.

Repeat

Return every 4–6 weeks for the full series. Results build the entire time.

Because you are paying for collagen you keep for two years instead of product that dissolves in one. Per month of result, Sculptra is usually the cheaper option — it just requires patience up front.

5 minutes, 5 times a day, for 5 days. It distributes the product evenly so it stimulates collagen in a smooth sheet rather than clumping. Skipping it is the number one cause of nodules. We will text you reminders.

A rough guide: one vial per decade of age. A 40-year-old typically needs 3–4 across a series. We would rather build slowly than overdo it.
